The general consensus is that Thorium gear is generally worse than Calamity's gear at all times except for the Ragnarok/Primordial weapons which can last very well up to Yharon. Also healer not being balanced.

Mage is very aoe heavy and glass cannon like but has some good lifesteal early on even though lifesteal is nerfed in calamity. I would say that mage is the best for fighting the endgame bosses just because of subsuming vortex / void vortex. Summoner is also pretty fun too, and way more viable after the update. Yeah rouge is really good in revengeance lol, never thought id get slime god on first try with rouge but its somehow broken.
