There's a hidden strength damage modifier and a hidden agility damage modifier you have to factor in. I don't know if there's an updated list post 3.0. The modifiers were mostly just halved, but it makes a difference if they were originally under 2 since that means it'll be under one now, so the damage is actually reduced by the modifier.
