The Pigman Sword is considered a bad ealy game choice, since weapons cheaper than it usually outdamage it, such as the Aspect of the Dragons. It's ability has a very niche use, which wont be useful to you right now. I reccomend selling it, buying an Aotd, Unstable Dragon armor and cheap accesories.
