commanderjjones · #7 · Aug 7, 2015. The rear diff'/tranny uses AGL. I can't remember the exact amount, but it's more than a quart. If memory serves me, it's around 44 ounces. The front uses Demand Drive fluid.....somewhere around 9 ounces. I don't own a 900 Ranger, so don't take my guesses on the capacity as gospel.

Fill the gearcase through the fill plug hole until fluid reaches the bottom threads and begins to spill out. The fluid capacity is 8.5 ounces (250 mL).
