I think with the retainer fantasia you can.. also if you just made the retainer you can hire it and then pick a new name w.o spending gil. I made it a month or two ago, but haven't done anything with it because I kind of don't want to have a cat girl named Shlurp represent me. I had no idea retainer fantasia's existed.

Only things I have seen myself from this are two of the general-purpose rare dyes or a retainer fantasia. After some research and asking others, it appears that those are the only items you can obtain from opening it.
