Reinstalling make sure the take down lever is pointing down. If it moved just lift the slide lock back up to rotate the take down lever back down. The whole P365 line has a history of "issues" with the use of the slide lock lever to release the slide while there is an empty mag inserted. When stowing a semi-auto I verify the chamber is clear, verify the magazine is empty, reinsert the mag, then again visually verify the empty chamber and empty mag.
