I had this issue and ended up replacing the little metal parts (1 on each side) and so far so good. The parts were not sold directly thru LR and only cost $2.50 but I had to pay $18 for shipping.Few steps: 1: Cut either the black or blue wire. 2: Get a 2k ohm resistor. (I didn't have any so I used a resistor and a potentiometer.) P.s.
