If you use slayer helm on a slayer task, the order is always. Armadyl > D'hide > Void. (void is useless) In case you want a tl;dr or just a rough approximation of what is the higher DPS for an average player: Most slayer monsters: Void > Armadyl > D'hide. Skeletal wyverns: Armadyl > D'hide > Void.

I know with the Crystal helm included, it's a bit worse than Armadyl chest/pants + Verac's helm as far as ranged defence, but I am guessing the accuracy bonus makes up for the loss in defence from Verac's helm

Absolutely not. Huge maintenance and not justifiable for DPS, even elite void with a crystal bow is better except for defensively which rarely factors. It might be worth it for some really niche uses with no upkeep cost, but with the shard requirements per hour its just useless IMO.
