Edit: I zoomed in on the image of the primer. It has looks to me like it has a very typical sks primer strike. It doesn't look like the primer was "flowing" or tried to pop out. Thats a good sign, but not a sure diagnoses. It looks like the case isn't seated all the way forward, but presumably it came back a little before it ripped.
