Sohm was able to kill everything except for the nunu, but Rakan and Bard kept him CC'd long enough for yasuo to execute him. The balance team also wanted the ability to buff dragonmancer to open up more candidates for play. It was their belief that Nunu, in any healthy state, would immediately become the prominent dragonmancer.
