It will make the fight far easier. Also more brews instead of blood spells probably more worthwhile so you can output more dps and not waste any time eating. Also trident's have a minimum max hit so you can actually brew down without restoring. Big thing is don't miss hits, brew, attack, brew, attack.

I haven't died at all in Song of the Elves... the fights are really nothing brutal to worry about.
