It stands in the middle of map , black galeon really close as well as summoning place for thralls , obelisk at hand , and passages to: savanah , black galeon , arena being all equally close making switching biomes really easy. You want either 40 or 50 vit depending on personal preference. For pve I'd recommend 40 vit 50 str. Every armor set is good, it just depends on what you want. I'd say the only ones to avoid would be spear, one hand mace, and the new greataxe. Everything else has strong use cases. Best all-round would probably be axe+shield and greatsword. #8.
