Like other people say you just have to be more strategic in all of your actions. The only and big downside is defending against raids is obviously harder.

Daggers are the meta agility weapon. Shortswords are also good for PVE. 9/10 you’re gonna be outnumbered. And anyone worth their salt in PvP could make very quick work of you with a strength build. Use a good weapon with that crafted by a blade Smith and put a master weapon damage kit on it.
