Clean your Skyrim folder and disable the Steam Overlay. Load Skyrim, let it set your graphics, open it to main menu, then close it. Install the Wabbajack desktop client from here. Navigate to Librum under the Browse for Modlists tab. Install Librum to a new folder outside of Program Files using Wabbajack.

Fus wabbajack has the bare essentials in the base set already covered (called just fus). You can choose only the necessary mods and start modding yourself so it already has the option to start with slim essentials covered for new modders. As for space, it will fit fine on your SSD. I believe it says you need roughly 130 gB or so. And as others have said, in the instructions, it tells you how to put the d/l files on a separate drive/folder, to save space on your SSD (assuming you also have an HDD to save them on). I think this saves ~50 gB.
Oh, and if a mod seems to never finish downloading and the bar doesn’t move for a long time, you might need to restart Wabbajack and reopen the FUS modlist installer. Just follow the steps we’ve done to get to this point in Wabbajack and it will pick up right where it left off. Do the same if Wabbajack crashes.

With 90Hz on Q2 I've not noticed my 4090FE loaded more than about 60%. I only have a 12700k CPU but even with Q2 Airplay encoding I don't think I've seen it loaded past about 20%.
Blurry graphics even with rtx 4090 system! Hi, I am running a quest 2 with official quest link cable with rtx 4090 at 90hz @ 5048x2736. So everything should be way sharp.
