For the LR3, the dfi sensor has to be triggered first to reset automatically. The LR4 will record a new level when it cycles. Once you change the bag the sensors will reset the waste level automatically! It does usually take a few minutes to reset in the app though.

LR4 Keeps saying cycle interrupted at a certain spot of in the cycle. As it says in the title, the LR4 keeps stopping right before reaching the hole for the waste basket and says cycle interrupted, proceeds to wait around 30 sec to a minute and the finishes the cycle normal.
