Jan 22, 2022 · I use the S-15 mags and a OEM factory mag catch. The Shield steel would not let the factory mags drop free. With both the factory mag catch and even the standard Shield mag catch, the S-15 mags popped out way too easily. I flared the top of the mag catch hole in the magazine outward (probably .03-.04") and they now work perfectly. Feeding is ... I just got an extended mag release for my 43x. Mainly got it for the aesthetics and in anticipation of getting the S15 mags when Shield Arms catch up to their back orders, hopefully by the end of September.
