On occasion, and since new, while the key is turned, and the engine is cranking, it just stops cranking. The key has to be cycled back to the off position, and then back to start. It is kind of hard to explain, but sometimes it will take several attempts to start. It just stops cranking. Another common problem is clogged discharge chute. Going too fast, choosing improper cutting height, and incorrect belt installation are some of the main reasons for it.
