The mythic plus system is an entirely separate kind of end game content that (loosely) runs parallel to the PvP and raiding methods of gearing. You can run higher levels ("keys") of mythic dungeons (ie m+1, m+2, .... m+15 etc) that continually increase the difficulty of the dungeon and item level of loot dropped.
