The beaches in Los Cabos are not calm. Large crashing waves with undertows makes it impossible for seaweed to take hold. Most beaches are too dangerous for swimming except Medano, Chileano, Santa Maria, Palmilla, El Ganzo, and I believe the beach at the Hilton. Edited: 4 years ago. It doesn't look to be a major hurricane so there should be minimal damage at most resorts. The workers work quickly to clean up and there should only be a day or 2 of minimal disruption.
